From a young age, I’ve been drawn to architecture, design, and the craft of building. My career began in millwork, where I developed an appreciation for precision and fine detail, and gradually progressed into full custom home construction and major luxury renovations. My carpentry apprenticeship was a defining chapter — one I valued deeply, even if formwork in cold rain occasionally tested my enthusiasm!
That hands-on building background ultimately led me into home inspection. After completing formal training, I joined a prominent inspection firm where I spent nearly five years as their lead inspector. During that time I completed advanced education and certifications, continually refining both my technical knowledge and communication skills.
Today, I am a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and the founder of The Inspector Training Academy, where I teach and mentor future inspectors while continuing to perform inspections myself. My goal has always been the same: to help clients truly understand the homes they are buying or selling.
I take pride in making complex building science understandable, educating clients and agents, and building lasting professional relationships. I genuinely enjoy what I do and feel fortunate to work in a field I’m passionate about every day.
